The New York bar exam results for February 2026 have been released.

The overall pass rate was 41%. The first time taker pass rate was 60%. The repeat-takers pass rate was 30%.  The foreign educated candidates had a passing rate of 32%.

The foreign educated candidates accounted for 56% of all exam takers, the highest percentage of takers ever for the New York Bar Exam
