Foreign Educated Students Fail The California Bar Exam at 80% for First Takers & 85% for Repeat Takers

Regardless of whether the foreign educated students take the California bar exam for the first time or as a repeat takers, the pass rate is SHOCKING LOW.

The foreign educated JD equivalent pass rate for first time takers was 19.8% and for repeaters 16.0%.

Indiana Uniform Bar Exam Adoption Not Unanimous

The ube recommendation was not unanimous. Three members of the commission opposed the switch, asserting Indiana would lose control over its own bar exam and the examinees would not learn substantial Indiana law prior to admission.

This argument has been made in some ube jurisdictions.

Currently, 36 states use the ube.
